It is useful to know what to expect before committing to a professional learning activity.

Where can I find upcoming event dates?

Confirmed event dates and registration details will be published on this page. If you are interested in a particular learning area, you may send an enquiry to SHM.

Are workshops offered online or in person?

Delivery arrangements depend on the event. Some programmes may be offered online, in person or by arrangement for a particular team or organisation. The format will be stated in each confirmed event listing.

Do SHM events provide CPD points or certificates?

Any certificate of attendance, CPD hours or professional recognition will be specified for the particular event where applicable. Participation should not automatically be assumed to provide accredited CPD or satisfy registration requirements. Please check the requirements of your own professional association or regulatory body.

Do I need previous professional experience?

This depends on the learning activity. Some programmes may be introductory, while others may be intended for practitioners with particular experience or professional roles. Please review any prerequisites before registering.

Can an organisation request tailored training?

Yes. SHM welcomes enquiries about suitable education and professional learning for teams and organisations. Learning objectives, topics, intended participants, delivery arrangements, availability and fees can be discussed individually.

Are workshops available in Vietnamese?

The language of delivery will be specified for each confirmed event. English and Vietnamese counselling services should not be taken to mean that every professional training programme is bilingual. You are welcome to enquire about language needs for a proposed activity.

What are the fees and cancellation conditions?

Event fees and relevant booking arrangements will be provided before registration. Please review the conditions applicable to your particular activity, including SHM’s Terms & Cancellation Policy before confirming a booking.

Can I discuss clinical examples during training?

This depends on the programme and its learning activities. Participants should respect confidentiality and professional responsibilities and avoid disclosing identifiable client information. Any case discussion must follow the facilitator’s guidance and relevant professional obligations.
