A question is a
good place
to begin.
Reaching out can feel like an important step. At Smiling Hearts And Minds (SHM), we welcome enquiries about counselling, psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, spiritual and pastoral care, clinical supervision, and professional learning.
You do not need to know exactly which service is right for you. Tell us a little about what you are looking for, and we can explore appropriate next steps.
Be heard.
Explore.
Respectful communication.
Clear information.
Appropriate next steps.
You can enquire without deciding on a specific service.
A brief description of your enquiry is a good starting point.
Avoid sharing detailed sensitive information in an initial enquiry.

A clear and respectful
way forward.
An initial enquiry can help clarify available options. It is not a confirmed booking or a clinical assessment.
Submit Your Enquiry
Provide the relevant details requested in the form and submit when ready.
Review & Clarification
SHM can review your enquiry and follow up regarding the service requested, availability or any clarification needed.
Discuss the Next Step
If an appropriate service is available, we can explain the relevant arrangements before a booking is confirmed.
A few things
worth knowing.
We value privacy, clear communication and informed decision-making.
The purpose of an initial enquiry is to begin a conversation about the support or professional service you are looking for.
Please do not include detailed medical records, therapy notes or highly sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.
Some services require individual assessment or specific professional arrangements. Making an enquiry does not guarantee that a particular service or appointment is available.
Individual counselling and psychotherapy enquiries are welcome in English and Vietnamese. You can indicate your language preference when contacting SHM.
Counselling and psychotherapy may be available in person in St Albans, Melbourne, or via Telehealth where suitable and by arrangement.
