EMDR therapy.
A structured psychotherapy approach for PTSD and suitable trauma-related concerns, following appropriate assessment and preparation.
EMDR is not automatically suitable for every person. An initial assessment and preparation may be required before treatment.
Spiritual care.
Support for exploring grief, meaning, life transitions, personal values and spiritual or existential questions. Religious belief is not required.
Clinical supervision.
Reflective professional support for students, provisional members and practising helping professionals.
Eligibility for student and provisional member rates may require confirmation.
Group supervision.
Scheduled group sessions supporting professional reflection, ethical practice and learning.

Organisational bookings require prior confirmation of service details, location, participants and total fees. Full payment of the agreed amount is required before the scheduled service. No deposit is accepted.
A 10-session package.
SHM offers a 10% discount on the normal session fee when a package of 10 sessions is paid upfront in one payment.
Each session is 60 minutes. Package suitability, the applicable total fee and booking conditions must be confirmed before payment.
Full payment of the discounted 10-session package is required in a single payment. Instalments and deposits are not available.

Choose an available time and complete payment of the full session fee. Deposits and partial payments are not accepted.
Receive Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after full payment has been successfully processed and booking confirmation has been issued. New clients may also receive intake and consent forms.

Important information
Full payment: SHM requires 100% of the session fee to be paid at the time of booking, before the appointment.
No deposits: SHM does not accept booking deposits, partial payments or a remaining balance payable on the appointment day.
Booking confirmation: An appointment is confirmed only after full payment is successfully processed and booking confirmation has been issued.
Cancellation and rescheduling: Any refund, cancellation or rescheduling arrangements are subject to the applicable service policy and relevant law. Please read the terms before completing payment.
Enquiries: Sending an enquiry does not reserve an appointment or confirm a booking.

Do I need to pay the full fee before my appointment?
Yes. Full payment of the session fee is required at the time of booking. Your appointment is only confirmed after successful payment and booking confirmation.
Can I pay a deposit and the remaining balance later?
No. SHM does not accept booking deposits or partial payments. The entire session fee must be paid in advance.
Can I pay on the day of my appointment?
No. The full fee must be paid before the appointment, as part of the booking process.
Can I pay online?
You can use the Book & Pay button to access the SHM Client Portal. Select the service and complete the available payment steps.

Is an enquiry the same as a confirmed booking?
No. An enquiry is an opportunity to ask questions. It does not reserve a session or confirm an appointment.

What if I choose the wrong appointment type?
